A new childrens illustration for a brief that has had me thinking for ages – I had too many ideas and just couldnt get started on any of them. Once again, pen and ink…I really should do more like this as I always enjoy it more than I think I will when I set out to do it…

Tidying up my ‘puter – out with the old and in with the new so to speak, and found a whole host of paintings, images and sketches that have never before been seen by the naked eye (or even a fully clothed one). This one was about to be the navigation image for my portfolio site before I got completely engrossed in something else…
Digital Painting
In an effort to get myself back into the habit (not Whoopi Goldberg style, even though I must point out I’d make a perfect nun impersonator), I am going to make an effort to stay on top of my sketching. I’d prefer to be doing so with real live lovely paints but my youngest little monster boy is at that stage in his life where he wants everything. NOW. Yes ladies and gentlemen, he’s 2. Its a good job I like learning new tricks.
Anyways, here is todays effort. I have dogs on the brain at the moment for reasons I shall share at a later date…
